Gulf SQAS provides us with a common platform for continual improvement in all areas of sustainability and HSSEQ. Due to the nature of our business in the GCC (mainly packaging, material handling, and warehousing), all our assessments to date have been under the WHS and Transportation module. 

S.A. TALKE is fully committed to the GPCA Gulf SQAS program, we have already completed the actual SQAS Assessment in most of our sites. The assessment results are readily available on the Gulf SQAS Website and GPCA manufacturer's members are granted access to view all our project SQAS performance.

ACT Safety Program "No SAT employee will tolerate unsafe acts’’.

• Act on the spot to avoid incidents

• Create a shared passion for safety and gain the commitment of all parties

• Capture unsafe acts using an ASP card 

• Involve each employee at all levels and empower them to report any unsafe act

• Share observations with the team during toolbox talk and provide constructive feedback to all employees

• Measure the ASP results on a monthly basis, select three high learning value ASP cards each quarter and reward the employees

Behavioural Based Safety Program

• BBS 1on1: The aim of this program is to focus on employee behavior during face-to-face training. This was a set of questions and techniques that will be used to educate and change the behavior of the employee toward a saver attitude. 

• BBS sustainability training: In connection with BBS 1 on 1, this program continues a learning initiative where group training will take place to refresh everyone about the company and site core values. 

• BBS Observations: This program is designed to observe and study employee behavior toward safety while they are on-site and should be closed by positive re-enforcement or constructive coaching successfully to improve safety performance.
